Termii — Full case study
Termii
Designing clarity for a complex communications platform.

As Termii’s product ecosystem expanded across Signal, Engage and Resolve, I worked across brand design, product marketing, customer education and motion to make increasingly complex product stories easier to understand.
The work moved across campaigns, editorial, lifecycle communication, tutorials, video and major brand moments—building a more consistent visual language around an evolving technology platform.
Termii in context
Designing inside a company moving at scale.
The creative work sat inside a company growing beyond messaging into a broader communications platform. As the product story became bigger, the communication challenge became more demanding too.
The challenge
One platform.Three product stories.Many touchpoints.
Termii’s product story was becoming more complex.
Signal focused on the infrastructure behind critical communication. Engage connected customer data to campaigns and journeys. Resolve brought support conversations into a more unified workflow.
The challenge wasn’t simply producing more communication. It was making each product easier to understand while keeping everything recognisably Termii across campaigns, email, editorial, education and motion.
The challenge wasn’t more communication. It was clearer communication.
My role
Working between brand, product and motion.
My role moved beyond individual campaign executions into product storytelling and visual systems.
I translated product and marketing ideas into clearer creative narratives, developed campaign directions, simplified technical capabilities and created communication that could move across static, editorial, email and motion without losing the core idea.
As the volume of work increased, I also contributed to creative review and consistency across selected projects.

Termii V4
A visual language built for an evolving platform.
V4 changed the scale of the communication problem.
Rather than treating every campaign or product announcement as an isolated design, I focused on recurring visual behaviours: strong hierarchy, product-led composition, restrained brand colour, purposeful interface use and enough consistency for different product stories to still feel connected.
The system had to work across migration communication, campaigns, editorial, lifecycle content and product education.

Engage
Turning customer data into understandable actions.
- Customer Data
- Segments
- Campaigns
- Customer Data
- Segments
- Journeys
Engage’s value sits in the relationship between customer information, segmentation and what a business does next.
Instead of treating each feature as a separate story, I focused the communication around workflows that made the relationship between data, audiences and campaigns easier to follow.

Resolve
Making an operational workflow feel simple.
Resolve brought a different challenge. Its story involved conversations, channels, assignment, context and resolution—concepts that could easily become dense if every creative relied on a product dashboard.
I focused the communication around the journey of a conversation and the continuity of context from first contact through resolution.
Channel can change.Context shouldn’t.

- First Response
- Assignment
- Agent Work
- Resolution
- Closure

Signal
Making invisible infrastructure visible.
Much of what Signal enables happens behind the interface: verification, transactional messaging, alerts and communication that simply needs to arrive when it matters.
The creative challenge was making that invisible infrastructure feel tangible without relying on technical diagrams.
Every login.Every verification.Every transaction.depends on one simple thing…

Motion
Motion as explanation, not decoration.
Motion became another part of the information hierarchy.
I used pacing, typography and transitions to reveal relationships, move the viewer through product stories and give technical ideas a clearer rhythm. The goal wasn’t simply to make static designs move. Every transition needed a reason to exist.
Motion should help the story move forward.
Termii Elevate 5.0
The event ended.The story didn’t.
Elevate shifted the visual language from product interfaces to people, conversations and momentum.
My contribution focused on extending the event through post-event creative: audience and speaker imagery, panel highlights, pitch-winner content, the event recap, Termii V4 updates and selected Sotel storytelling.
The aim was to identify the moments worth carrying forward and turn them into content that could continue building attention after the live experience ended.

- Social Storytelling
- Creative QA

One event.Multiple stories worth carrying forward.

Process
Extending the production toolkit with AI.
I used AI where it could accelerate exploration or expand production possibilities, then brought those outputs back into a traditional design and art-direction workflow.
AI accelerated production. It didn’t replace the design decisions.

System at scale
One visual language. Many different jobs to do.
The work moved across product launches, education, social, editorial, email, tutorials, campaigns, motion and events.
The important part wasn’t the number of outputs. It was building communication that could change format without losing the product story behind it.

Reflection
What this project changed for me.
Termii pushed my practice beyond individual deliverables.
Working across Signal, Engage and Resolve meant thinking more systematically: how a technical product is explained, how one idea moves across channels, how motion can clarify information and how many different executions can still belong to one recognisable brand.
Elevate added another dimension—showing how the same creative thinking could move from product communication into people, events and brand storytelling.
From product capabilityto customer understanding.
Let’s work together
Have a project worth making clear?
I’m open to brand, product and motion opportunities where strong visual thinking can help make complex ideas easier to understand.
